Second Annual Favorite Poem Open Mic

Featuring Guest Poets Sharon Olson, Monica Ong Reed and Robert Berner Sharing Their Favorite Poems!

Our second annual Favorite Poem Evening is here!  Come listen to our guest panel read their favorite poems  and then during the open mic which follows, share one of your favorite poems and tell us why you like it.

Yes that’s right.  The feature reading is first this month.  For the Favorite Poem open mic, we ask participants to share a favorite poem written by someone else.  Tell us why the poem is special to you. One poem per reader each round.  Rounds will be determined based on number of readers. Four minute limit per poem this week only.

Bring one of your own poems as well because if time allows, we will also have an Open Mic for participants to share one of their own poems.

See you at the Poetry Institute!  As always, doors open at 6:30 pm. Reading begins at 7:00 pm.  Free and open to the public.  Refreshments.
